Pre-Ballet I & II - Ages 4-6, 45 minutes

As an extension to creative movement, students will learn basic ballet positions, body alignment, coordination, listening, and social skills. Exercises emphasize fun while encouraging imagination and creativity through group interaction.

Beginning Ballet I & II - Ages 7 -13, 60 minutes

Training begins with the basic fundamentals of classical ballet technique. Emphasis is placed on basic skills, flexibility, musicality, and vocabulary that will allow students to move into formal training.

Ballet I - Ages: *IP, 60 minutes

Formal ballet training begins with an emphasis on barre work, focusing on muscle development, placement, strength, and control. Simple floor combinations, focusing on body alignment and balance, allow students to develop poise, self-confidence, physical coordination, and strength.

Ballet II - Ages: *IP, 60 minutes

Students continue to develop skills previously learned with continued focus on muscle development, placement, strength, and control. The repetition of exercises continues to develop technique required to advance to the next level. Students at this level are encouraged to take a minimum of two or more classes each week.

Ballet III - Ages: *IP, 90 minutes

Students continue with formal ballet training, muscular development and control necessary to execute classical ballet movements. Emphasis now moves to center floor combinations, turns, jumps, and pre-pointe classes. Students are required at this level to take a minimum of three classes each week.

Ballet IV - Ages: *IP, 120 minutes

Students continue with emphasis on technique, placement, strength, and the development of a more extensive vocabulary. Variations are taught as part of the class curriculum along with continued development of pointe work. Students are required at this level to take a minimum of three classes per week.

Ballet V - Ages: *IP, 120 minutes

Ballet V continues with technique, pointe, and variations. Emphasis is placed on consistency, musicality, articulation, and natural expression. Students are encouraged to allow their artistic personality to shine through. Students are required at this level to take a minimum of four classes per week.

Pre-Pointe  & Pointe - Ages: *IP, 30 minutes

Pre-Pointe and Pointe are part of the regular class curriculum in levels III – V. Once approved for pointe classes, students are required to take a minimum of three to four ballet classes per week.
